The "Liberty or Death" flag was made by Johann Troutman of Knoxville, Georgia. In 1835, Colonel Fannin made an appeal for a Georgia battalion to aid the Texas cause. Miss Troutman presented this flag to Colonel Fannin before he returned back to Texas with the volunteers. This 2' x 3' antiqued cotton Liberty or Death flag is framed in your choice of a barn wood frame (standard) or a deluxe beaded frame (at extra charge).
